The pupils of Dosbarth Teigr pulled off an incredible 3 performances of their nativity play last week, a big ask for Early Years children.
However, they rose to the challenge magnificently performing consistently and with bags of confidence on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.
All the Nursery would like to say how proud we are of all of the children and thank all parents for their support in practising songs and lines at home as well as organising their children's costumes.
We are now looking forward to our trip to see Santa this coming Friday at Dan yr Ogof!

All settled in!
A very big welcome to all of our new boys and girls in Dosbarth Teigr who are now all settled in after their staggered entry.
We're all busy getting really stuck in with our topic 'Happiness' and are currently looking at different celebrations, starting with the Hindu festival of Diwali, which takes place in a few weeks time.
Here's a short clip of some of the children practising some Indian dancing, apologies for the quiet audio and shaky camera, a certain teacher may have been trying to dance and film at the same time! Enjoy!

On Friday 14th June, Dosbarth Teigr and Dosbarth Eliffant took part in a sponsored bounce on a huge bouncy castle in the school hall to raise money for our school.
The boys and girls were all fantastic and managed to raise lots of money for the school whilst having loads of fun.

Fallen Stars at Ffynnon Taf
***NEWS FLASH***
Dosbarth Teigr and Ellifant went exploring today following reports of a flash seen in the sky late last night followed by a loud bang! The children found strange black objects that had made large holes in the ground on the field and in the school garden surrounded by sparkles and shimmers.
The identity of the objects is not yet known however some eyewitnesses did give their opinions:
Kieron Burgwyn, aged 3, believes that the object is a star and suggested that "A bigger star pushed it out of the sky" and then "It smashed into the ground".
Responding to why the star was black Tia Marshall, also aged 3 thought that "The sparkles fell off the star when it landed".
Both classes will be investigating the objects and deciding what to do with them this week, so watch this space...

Half Term News
Our topic this term is called ‘When I Fall
Asleep’ and we have been investigating what happens at nighttime. We began with
a sleepy day where we wore our pyjamas in school. We were read bedtime stories
by Mr Wysom, Mrs James and Mr Worth. We also made hot chocolate and performed
lullabies and bedtime songs!
We have been learning about everything to
do with nighttime, from bedtime routines to exploring light and dark. We had
fun exploring dreams and created some fantastic art and craft projects. Just
before half term we began to look at maps and made some maps of the school
garden to help bedtime bear find his cuddly toy.
